Creating your first team #

During the creation process of your first team (outlined below) you will be prompted to purchase a bMaps Teams license. You will be able to choose from several options suitable for organisations of all sizes. 

If you choose a bMaps Teams license that allows you to create multiple teams (Startup and above) this team will be the ‘organisation team’ that manages all subsequent sub teams. 

  1. Login to your bMaps account
  2. From the home screen select bMaps Teams
  3. Click the ‘Start Now’ button
  4. Give you team a name and description
  5. By default your bMaps account email will be shown to team members as the contact email, if you’d like to use a different email address check the ‘Use custom team contact details?’ box and define a different address.
  6. Click ‘Next’
  7. Select the bMaps Teams license most suitable for your team and click ‘Next’
  8. Fill out your payment details and submit the form

Creating more teams #

If you choose a bMaps Teams license that allows you to create multiple teams (Startup and above) you will be able to create as many teams as the license allows by following these steps

  1. Login to your bMaps account
  2. From the home screen select bMaps Teams
  3. Use the team selector to select your ‘organisation team’
  4. With the ‘organisation team’ selected you’ll be presented with several options. Click the green ‘Create New Team’ button
  5. Give you team a name and description
  6. By default your bMaps account email will be shown to team members as the contact email, if you’d like to use a different email address check the ‘Use custom team contact details?’ box and define a different address.
  7. Click ‘Next’
  8. Confirm the new team details and click ‘Create Team’
